That is the LRV (Lunar Roving Vehicle) Dino, believe it or not. It had to be light and spindly otherwise they would never have been able to get it to the moon. It's the stuff flying around in the background which is suspect. Here is a pic of the LEV taken by one of the Apollo astronauts on the Moon:

If I recall correctly the crew had to assemble it before they could use it. Three were sent up in total on the last three Apollo missions, Apollo's 15 through 17. The LRV allowed the astronauts to travel further afield from the LEM (Lunar Excursion Module) to look for places of interest and take samples.

A day once dawned, and it was beautiful. A day once dawned from the ground, then the night she fell and the air was beautiful. The night she fell all around. So look, see the days, the endless coloured ways, and go play the game that you learnt from the morning ~ Nick Drake
Those are much better clearer pictures Dave, , i wonder why the footage with the unidentified objects was so poor in quality and contrast, do you think it is fake?, im not sure but i do reckon there is e.t. activity happening there especially on the dark side of the moon.
